July Bike Film Festival at the Long Beach Art Theatre

Looking for something fun and cool to do on Sunday afternoons in July? How about checking out the Bike Film festival at the Art Theatre onFourth Street’s Retro Row. The Art proudly presents Bike Film Fest: a month-long Sunday series exploring the wonderful world of cycling.
Each Sunday at 12:30 p.m. from July 8 to July 29, moviegoers will be presented with four different films. They may choose to spend an afternoon cycling with pros through the countryside of Vietnam, race in the Tour De France, join an epic journey along the Continental Divide, or explore the diverse biking landscapes across four continents.
Thanks to generous sponsors from Surf City Cyclery, BikeLongBeach.org, Velo Allegro Cycling, and BIKEable Communities participants will also be included in cycling giveaways at each show!
Film tickets may be purchased in advance for $6.50 or for $7.50 the day of each showing. Each film is only showing once, so mark your calendars for these great events.

Ride the Divide: An award-winning feature film that shares three characters’ attempts to pedal from Banff, Canada to a small, dusty crossing at the Mexican Border. Showing 7/22 at 12:30 p.m.
Reveal the Path: Featuring Tour Divide racing legends Matthew Lee & Kurt Refsnider, this adventure film visually explores a variety of landscapes across wide-ranging cultures. Showing 7/29 at 12:30 p.m.
