City of Arcadia, California, at the end of 2010 adopted its General Plan Update, in which I served as a member of the General Plan Advisory Committee. The updated General Plan for the first time includes a Bikeway Plan in its Circulation and Infrastructure Element. The Plan will receive an LA Chapter of the American Planning Association’s Award of Merits on June 22.
