Beach Babe Women’s Bike Ride – July 17, 2016. Each summer the City of Long Beach hosts the Beach Babe Bicycling Classic – a casual, fun women’s bike ride along the coast from Long Beach to Huntington Beach and back. We have a palm tree-lined start, surf music, and the babes are adorned with all things beach – from leis to pink flamingos! The ride is not timed, everyone’s a winner, and you get to soak in the scene like a true Southern California Girl as you nibble on delectable cuisine at rest stops along the way. Marvel in the sites and bask in the glow of your accomplishment when you cross the finish line with friends! Once you ride as a beach babe, like summer, you’ll be back each year.
Bike Fest celebrates the bike-friendliness of Long Beach and 2016 will continue to promote a new spin on the event including a Wolfpack Hustle Crit course and Gold Sprints from the stage. Bike enthusiasts can enjoy the competitive elements or kick-back in the Beachwood & Friends craft beer garden with live music, vintage bikes, vendor village and more
