As part of Bike Month in Long Beach … BIKEable Communities teamed up with The City of Long Beach, Safe Moves,

Miller’s Childrens Hospital, Kohls, The Workshop bikeshop in Bixby Knolls and Councilman Dee Andrews to give away over 100 helmets to kids at McBride Teen Center.

And the kids not only got helmets…but got tips from the Safe Moves team on riding the city streets and commuting to school by bike..
